Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers and technical leadership team to create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources
- Organize and facilitate various Scrum ceremonies to empower the team to collaborate effectively and ultimately drive results
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information through practicing core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
- Assist with quarterly OKR (Objective and Key Result) prioritization process, report monthly review result, and adjust schedules and targets as needed
- Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions, facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
- Identify inter-team and intra-team dependencies, and serve as a point of contact for multiple teams that are involved in the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Coach the team to manage multiple assignments based on priority and become self-organizing
- Help the team and management to create KPI’s for monitoring and continuous improvement
Requirements/Must Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role and/or PMP/CSM certified
- Experience with any of the major cloud platforms, AWS preferred
- Knowledge or hands on experience with data science and/or machine learning preferred
- Proficiency with JIRA/Atlassian products and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Nice-To-Have Skills
- Related experience in the media industry is an asset
Degrees or certifications
- University Degree in Computer science, Math, Statistics or related field preferred
