ESG Commitment

At Dawn InfoTek, our goal is to promote environmental sustainability throughout our business, including our operations, our sourcing practices, and our products. We are committed to being more agreeable towards the environment—from enabling customers with paperless processes to investing directly in organizations that are making a sustainable impact. It is also up to each of us, as individuals, to make small changes in our daily behaviors to slow the effects of climate change and preserve our environment.

ENVIRONMENTAL

 

As a company that specializes in information technology, Dawn InfoTek’s object is to minimize the impact that our business has on the nature environment and our goals include to reduce resource consumption and waste within the business, and environmentally friendly practices and policies are in place and adhered to. We target to achieve zero waste to landfill across the business within 5 years, remove single-use plastics in the business within 5 years and paper use and printing reduced by 80% within 2 years.

Dawn InfoTek has set a goal of becoming a Net-Zero within the business by 2040. Our approach and strategy include

  • Energy efficiency through power saving devices and practices
  • Increase use of renewable energy where available
  • Reduced travel through technology providing remote solutions and use of electric vehicles for business travel (where available).
  • Waste management plans across the business ensuring any waste is managed appropriately including e-waste and that the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle are embedded in our day-to-day activities

We target to have reduction in energy use from offices of at least 10% within 2 years, all office electricity consumption to be from 100% renewable sources within 5 years (where possible), all office lighting to be LED within 3 years and residual emissions (once minimum levels achieved) offset by 2030.

Our goal is to have 50% women in senior management by 2030, ensure that accessibility is never a barrier within our business and established apprenticeships/internships program in place across the business.

In addition, Dawn InfoTek is committed to helping employees maintain a healthy balance between their fulfilling careers and their personal responsibilities, so we offer Wellness Reimbursement Program to help our employees maintain their work-life balance.

Dawn InfoTek has a comprehensive compliance program that includes regular training for employees, monitoring of business activities, implement data privacy policies, conduct risk assessments and internal controls to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. As an information technology company, we’re committed to maintaining and ensuring best-in-class protection of personal data for all employees and clients.

Dawn InfoTek is also focused on promoting transparency, honesty and accountability in its operations. We have a Code of Conduct that outlines the company’s values and principles and sets expectations for employee behavior. The code covers topics such as business integrity, conflicts of interest, and compliance with laws and regulations. We are also robust framework management including policies and procedures that ensure visibility across the global business and implement risk management plan and reporting in place across the business.
