We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Splunk Engineer to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement custom Splunk solutions based on specific project requirements, ensuring they address business needs and deliver actionable insights within high-pace project timelines.
- Work with high-volume data sources. Normalize, join, and transform data into cohesive datasets that support complex analysis.
- Develop and optimize complex Splunk searches, leveraging subsearches and lookup integrations to deliver high-performance & tailored reporting, alerting, and visualizations.
- Develop intricate dashboards with pre-process and post-process searches, base search optimization, and advanced tokenization and drilldown functionality for interactive user experiences.
- Help support existing Splunk infrastructure and programs, reviewing & troubleshooting user issues to mitigate downtime and impacts to users.
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of working experience
- 3+ Years with SPLUNK related enterprise application working experience
- Build complex data joins, logic, dashboards, alerts, data standards
- With strong experience using SPLUNK ML/AI functionality.
- With strong experience with SPLUNK applications features
- Has good understand of data fabric search and can potentially use it while on version 8.
- Also knowledge with connection with Hadoop data sources in the EDL, best practices, help with implementation, etc.
- Experience with SPLUNK integration with other applications such as database and D3 (our current case management system).
- Any SPLUNK Certificate is an Asset
Education
- A post-secondary education in Computer Science or Math or Engineering disciplines is an asset
